Our story

From desert roots to your morning ritual

For centuries, Muslims around the world have used the miswak — a small stick from the arak tree — to clean their teeth before prayer, before sleep, and whenever they want to refresh their breath. Classical scholars wrote about its virtues; modern studies describe its antibacterial, plaque-removing and gum-supporting properties.

The miswak is more than a plant: it is a sunnah the Beloved Prophet ﷺ encouraged his Ummah to follow. Peel the bark, soften the tip, brush with water — no paste, no plastic, no harsh chemicals. Just the tree, water, and intention.

When we discovered that Japanese researchers had combined miswak fibres with natural silica into a clinically evaluated toothbrush, we saw the bridge: prophetic tradition meeting precise modern engineering — made for Muslims in Europe who want both faith and quality.

The Miswak Ritual was born from that bridge. Our mission is simple: help practising Muslims keep this sunnah in daily life — before wudu and prayer, at home and when travelling — with calm design, honest materials, and tools you are proud to use.

No complicated routines. No long ingredient lists. Just an invitation to turn brushing your teeth into a small ritual of care — for your mouth, and for your day.
